Q: How do I get started?
A: Fill out and submit your program agreement. This can be completed online using the link that your representative emailed you or by filling out the paper version that was enclosed in your information package and faxing it back to us at 856-589-1033. If you do not have a representative or are unable to locate your program agreement, please email us at info@customsportswear.net or call 800.697.0330 and a specialist will be able to assist you.
Q: What makes Custom Sportswear different and why should we choose to do business with you?
A: Great question! In short, we do all the work, and you have all the fun! Our program works a bit different than most vendors. We put together a Spiritwear program for you, including order forms, posters, sample tee and online store so you can promote and collect pre-orders as opposed to having to place a bulk order and pay for everything upfront and then try to re-sell all of the items. On the backend of our program, we’ll tally all orders, print the products, and then individually fold and bag each order and further organize them by grade, classroom & student so they are ready for easy, organized distribution. Q: Do you have online ordering?
A: YES! Online ordering is included with our Program. Here is a link to more information about our online stores. Your online store is packed with features to help you promote your Program via Facebook, Twitter & Email.
Q: Do I need a budget?
A: NO! We do not require a budget or up-front money. Our program works a bit different than most vendors. We put together a Spiritwear program for you, including order forms, posters, sample tee and online store so you can promote and collect pre- orders as opposed to having to place a bulk order and pay for everything upfront and then try to re-sell all of the items. On the backend of our program, we’ll tally all orders, print the products, and then individually fold and bag each order and further organize them by grade, classroom & student so they are ready for easy, organized distribution. Not only does our program not require a budget but you can earn a profit by marking your items up. Because we run a pre-order program your profit is guaranteed and will never be eroded or eliminated by unsold/leftover inventory.
Q: How much does your Program cost?
A: Zero! There is no cost to the school or parent group to run our program. We’ll provide you with everything you need to run an easy, organized, and successful Spiritwear program with no risk or cost whatsoever.
Q: What is included with your program?
A: We provide you with everything you’ll need to run a successful & organized Program. Your marketing materials include custom order forms/flyers for the entire school, a second Reminder set of forms/flyers for the entire school, print and digital posters to hang up around the school, a custom web store for online ordering, free sample tee shirt, tabulation of your orders, individually folded, bagged, and organized orders separated by grade, classroom & student. Q: Do you have minimum order requirements?
A: NO! We do not have any minimum order requirement when running our program, this means that you can offer a full line of Spiritwear, not just tee shirts. Many schools only offer Tee shirts because it is very costly to bring in Tie Dyes, Sweatshirts, Camo Tees, etc. With our program you can offer a full Spiritwear line at absolutely no risk and no cost to the school or parent group.
Q: How are the orders delivered?
A: Every order is individually folded & bagged and further organized by grade, classroom & student, ready for easy, organized distribution upon delivery to the school.
Q: Do you have any hidden fees?
A: Our prices are all inclusive. That means that there are no additional charges or fees for anything!! No SHIPPING Charges, no screen fees, no set-up fees, no art charges!
Q: Will there be a set-up fee or a screen fee?
A: NO, there are no set-up fees or screen fees.
Q: Are there shipping fees?
A: NO! Shipping is FREE.
Q: Do you help with logos and designs?
A: YES, we have a graphic art department in-house. You can choose any of the professional designs from our website and we’ll customize them for your school and mascot. Or if you’d prefer, you can use your own design or provide us with ideas and examples of what you’re envisioning, and our artists will create a custom design for your school.
Q: Do you charge for artwork?
A: NO. There are no art charges for our customers.
Q: What is your turn-around time?
A: All orders are processed after you provide us permission to close the program and begin processing. This generally occurs shortly after the sales end date. Delivery takes approximately 2 to 3 weeks from that date. All orders arrive at the school individually folded, bagged, and organized by grade, classroom & student, ready for easy & organized distribution.
Q: How long will it take to pass out the orders?
A: This will vary based on the number of students you have in your school and how many students & staff members order. An average school with 500 students, the order can be passed out in approximately 25 minutes or less. Our Program has been designed for one or two people at most to run the entire thing with a minimal amount of effort. No need for several volunteers.
Q: What products do you have?
A: In order to ensure a satisfied customer, we only use the finest manufacturers in the apparel industry. Because we work exclusively with elementary & middle schools, our product must be washable, fashionable, and most importantly, durable. Gildan, Badger, Code V, Hanes, Jerzee, C2, A4, Dyenomite, Colortone & Alstyle products met with our philosophy of providing top quality products at reasonable prices. Q: How many items can we offer in our program?
A: We recommend four items however you can include up to five. Our most popular and best-selling items are the Pullover Hoods, Tie Dye Tees & Short Sleeve Cotton Tees.
Q: How long does a Program run?
A: Two weeks is the ideal program length. Typically kicks off on a Monday and ends on the following Friday. However, if you school has a folder day each week when important paper works gets sent home, you can structure your dates to accommodate your folder days. Also, when running your program at the beginning of the school year you may have open house, back to school or other events that you’d like to promote your Spiritwear at. We will take this into account and accommodate those events when scheduling your program dates. Please let your representative know of any events you’d like to schedule in coordination with.
Q: Can we run our program all year?
A: Over our 40+ year history we have tested every program length possible and found that two weeks is the ideal program length. It creates a sense of urgency for people ordering, sets a limit to how long you’ll be “dealing” with Spiritwear related questions and responsibilities and actually helps generate more orders than keeping it open all year long. In fact, when we ran yearlong programs, those schools sold 70% less Spiritwear than those that ran for two weeks.
Q: Do you screen print the garments or use decals or transfers?
A: We hand-print every item using the traditional direct screen-printing process. This method continues to be the most durable and long-lasting technique available. To ensure a satisfied customer, we only use the finest products & techniques in the apparel industry. Because we work exclusively with elementary & middle schools, our products & printing must be washable, fashionable, and most importantly, durable.
Q: Do you have references?
A: Yes, absolutely. We’ve been in business since 1982 and have worked with schools in almost every community across the country and on US Military Bases around the world.
